Swiss tournament
The tournament is single stage, with a 6-round Swiss format.
Swiss system
A Swiss-system tournament is a non-eliminating format with a fixed number of rounds, so not every competitor plays all the others. Players are paired with opponents with a similar score, and never play the same opponent twice. The winner is the player with the most points over all rounds. Fast and balanced, it finds a winner without making everyone play against everyone.

Rounds
In each round, players are paired according to their current score. To keep pairings fair and balanced, the previous round must be completely finished before the next one begins.
Each week players schedule the match themselves, agreeing on date and time with their opponent. Because the Swiss system is blocking, each round lasts at most 1 week. This keeps to the schedule and lets the tournament end in an orderly way.
Each round has as many matches as half the number of participants, since each match involves two players.
Matches
Matches are best of 5 sets: the first player to win 3 sets wins the match. Matches follow the rules.
Scoring
- 1 point for the winner of the match (3 sets out of 5)
- 0 points for the loser
- 0 points for both players in case of a tie (match not played, so as not to encourage withdrawals)
Matches not played
If a match is not played because one or both players are unavailable, the result is recorded as a tie. This avoids delays and keeps the tournament moving.
Entering scores
At the end of each match, players enter the final score directly on the platform, and the leaderboard and next-round pairings update automatically.
